Siege and Storm (Grisha #2)

I know this book is apart of a series so I am not going to give away and spoilers. This will be more of a short review on my opinion on how the book played out.

This book was definitely a whirlwind. The first book was paced out very well but the second book lost a lot of the even pacing. For almost the whole book, nothing went on. You would miss almost nothing if you skipped the whole book except for the last 20 pages or so. I do understand that sometimes a sequel is not as good as its first book, but this didn't compare to the first book. It also goes in a huge circle and the main character is battling with herself over the same thing throughout the whole book. She is also extremely wishy-washy which only drags the book out longer and made me extremely frustrated. The ending was extremely explosive and I got some of the action I was yearning for throughout the whole book. It didn't make up for everything though and I'm hoping the third book, which I am currently reading, will be a little more interesting.
